This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is issued by Chin+gar+inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies to the mobile application Contacts (“App”) and its related services (“Services”).
The App is a contacts manager and phone dialer that allows users to view, organize, search, and manage contacts, make and receive phone calls, view call history, block numbers, and optionally set the App as the default phone handler. All core features operate locally on the user’s device.
2. OUR PRIVACY COMMITMENT
- Your contacts, call logs, and phone-related data remain stored on your device.
- We do not upload contacts or call history to external servers.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We collect only minimal technical and usage data required for app stability, analytics, and optional configuration.
- The App is designed with user privacy and transparency in mind.

Compose UI, Glide, Lottie, CircleImageView, Shimmer, Libphonenumber, ZXing, Room Database, RxJava, BlurView, Image Cropper, ez-vCard, Browser support, UI animation and layout utilities. These libraries operate locally on the device and do not collect or transmit personal data.

If advertisements are shown, they are provided by third-party ad partners.

- Contacts and call logs remain stored locally on your device.
- No contact or call data is uploaded to our servers.
- Technical data collected by analytics SDKs is retained according to their privacy policies.
- Reasonable safeguards are applied to protect app-related data.
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Anonymous technical or analytics data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country where our analytics providers operate.
10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
- Revoke contacts, call log, or phone permissions at any time via system settings
- Disable notifications or overlays
- Reset Advertising ID (if applicable)
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
11. JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC PROVISIONS
EEA / UK (GDPR): You may request access or deletion of anonymized analytics data processed by third parties.
California (CCPA / CPRA): You may opt out of ad personalization through device settings.
12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
This App is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available within the App or on the Play Store listing.
